Special K | 12.5 | A white clay containing a large amount of pre-fired mullite grog cutting down the wet to dry shrinkage and adding building strength. A robust body specially suited to large sculptural work accommodating all hand forming applications, can be thrown with care. Good thermal qualities, can withstand multiple firing techniques. |

White Raku | 12.5 | Widely used for a multitude of different applications – not limited to Raku temperatures. This versatile clay can be fired to stoneware. Toast | 12.5 | Toast is a versatile iron-bearing clay body that has been developed for both hand-building and throwing applications. It is heavily grogged with a range of particle sizes, that add to the rich visual texture. Primarily formulated for oxidation firing atmospheres for its lovely warm buff colour, Toast is also attractive in reduction, firing to a dark mottled chocolate. |

Raku T | 12.5 | Buff raku. Good for larger hand-built forms. Excellent coiling, joining and throwing properties. This clay is similar in grog content to White Raku. A popular choice for its fired warmth over a wide range of temperatures. Produces beautiful results in reduction atmospheres. |

Midfire 6 | 12.5 | Mid Fire No 6 is a smooth white plastic body great for domestic ware and medium size hand building. It has an excellent glaze fit with all commercial mid fire glazes. The feel and smoothness of this clay makes it ideal for throwing. Customers currently using this body also have had great success with slab rolling and slumping domestic ware. |
Stoneware #7 | 12.5 | Versatile and reliable. Stoneware number 7 is our “all rounder” clay. White firing stoneware body with excellent plasticity, throwing and joining properties. Suitable choice for learning on the wheel. | |
Stoneware #9 | 12.5 | Stoneware 9 is suitable for both throwing and hand building applications. Unfired colour is a strong pink due to the large iron content. Firing a dark chocolate in reduction to a dark warm grey in oxidation. Stoneware 9 is a great choice to give your glazes a completely different look. | |

Woodfire | 12.5 | Keane’s new Wood Fire/Flashing Stoneware Clay is a fine plastic stoneware body designed for flashing in oxidation, reduction and wood firing. Flashing colour can range from orange, red to brown colour on an unglazed surface. Colour response can vary greatly depending on the wood firing and glaze. This clay body can also be used as a normal flashing stoneware (cone 10). It has an off white colour and excellent glaze fit. |

Ironestone | 12.5 | Ironstone is a 60# iron bearing clay designed for warm fired results in oxidation to a chocolate warm body with creamy orange mottle in reduction. Throwers love the plasticity and how well Ironstone stands up on the wheel. Hand builders will enjoy the stability of the clay during the making and firing. |

Lumina Midfire Porcelain | 10 | KEANE Lumina is a true porcelain so firing accurately is important. It vitrifies at cone 10, the absorption is zero. Thin pieces will be amazingly translucent. In reduction it is a unique blue-white colour. The added bentonite makes the workability of this clay incredible. Customers are loving the ease with which they can throw and turn this clay. |

Midfire # 33 | 12.5 | KEANE’s new Mid Fire 33. This is a versatile clay body with excellent throwing properties. A cone 6 warm buff body with a beautiful iron fleck. Much the same as our popular Stoneware 33 body. Total Shrinkage at Cone 6: 12% Porosity at Cone 6: 1 to 1.5% |
Warm Midfire #33 | 12.5 | New KEANE’s Warm Mid Fire 33 is a wonderful throwing clay body. At cone 6 it has a nice milk chocolate colour with shades of red. At cone 5 it fires with a lovely warm red blush. It has the same speckles as our 33 range. |
